The fauna of the Colombian savannah is made up of 62 species of mammals; 25 species of reptile; 315 varieties of bird; 23 species of amphibian and 107 classes of fish some of the animals are Chigüiro
the Danta.

Flora
The savanna is a plain with a climate such that the predominant vegetation is grasses, dotted with some individual tree, shrub or bush or in small groups. Normally, savannas are transition zones between forests and steppes
lemon grass, Rhodes grass, star grass and Bermuda grass.

The climate in the savanna is a little warm
all year round. It is characterized by a season during the humid summer months, and sometimes
rains but mostly is really
hot.
Threats
The threats of the sabana llanera are
climate change, pollution, bad use of water resources, unsustainable agriculture and livestock arson
that is way the savanna need help.
